Who are the users of the app?
Guests – any individual looking for information and guidance on what is going on in the city.
Venues – Any establishment with an address, that hosts guests.
Organizers – An individual/ Organization that plans and promotes their events on the app.
What does “Reliability Score” mean?
On Guest Profile – this means, the person always shows up to anything they “click going” and they check in. If they are unable to attend, they bother to click “rain check” within the app and cancel their attendance. Guests start with 100% and loose 10% each time they do not show up to an outing without canceling.
On Venue Profile – this means the information being displayed has been verified by The Venue and is updated on a regular basis. Venues start with 100% reliability and loose 10% each day they do not update waiting time or capacity on their page. They must do so at least once a day to maintain reliability score at 100%.
On Organizer Profile – this means, the person always shows up to anything they “click going” and they check in. If they are unable to attend, they bother to click “rain check” within the app and cancel their attendance. Organizers start with 100% and loose 10% each time they do not show up to an outing without canceling.
Why is Auto Check In important?
Go to “Settings” tab and ensure your “Auto Check In” is enabled – if you click going to a venue and forget to check in, we will do it for you if you are within 100 meters of the venue address.
Why is it important to turn on Notifications?
Go to “Settings” tab and ensure your “Notifications’ are enabled – this is the only way for you to receive reminders to check in or cancel your attendance so that your reliability score stays at 100%. It also the only way to receive alerts from venues and organizers you follow concerning events you are attending.
How do l get maximum value from the app?
As Guest – Before you go out, click “Plan an Outing” ; enter date, time and age preference. Use bottom tabs to browse through Venues, Events, Promos and Organizers who match your search. Top right arrow allows you to sort by Most Popular, Distance, Favorites and Following. Top right funnel allows you to filter by Venue Type, Entertainment and Music.
As Venue – Create a profile with pictures of your venue, menu and link to video. Ensure you enter all required information as guests can sort using the provided categories. It is vital to update either your waiting time or availability at least once a day to maintain 100% reliability. You MUST invite staff and contacts to follow your page on the app in order to understand your demographic and reach them easily using the app.
As Organizer – You are a privileged user with both the functions of a guest and a venue. You MUST invite staff and contacts to follow your page on the app in order to understand your demographic and reach them easily using the app. The reporting feature will help you measure the success of your marketing efforts as well as allow you to communicate with potential guests.
How do l know who else is going?
Once you click “Going” to a venue or event at a particular time, you will be shown other users who are also going at that same time. If you decide not to go based on the other people attending, don’t forget to cancel your attendance so that you do not loose reliability!
How do Guests connect with other Guests?
Guests are encouraged to make sure they put an “ice breaker” on their profile. This will provide a means to start conversations when you are at Venues. When viewing the list of who else is going, there is an option to click “Connect” – once clicked, the other guest receives an alert that you are also going to the venue at the same time and would like to connect. There is no ability for guests to message each other on the app, they must go to the venue at the specified time and connect there.
How do Venues and Organizers connect with Guests?
a) If a Guest is following a Venue or Organizer, they will receive an alert whenever new events are posted.
b) Venues and Organizers can also send custom messages to their followers at any time. Note: Guests can choose to unfollow Venues or Organizers who send too many alerts.
c) Venues and Organizers can send messages to confirmed guests.
What are the reporting features available to Venues and Organizers?
a) Venues can view their expected guest list at three-hour intervals throughout the day.
b) Venues and Organizers can create events and view their expected guest list; including - guest name, age range and reliability score. This reporting can be used to understand demographics of guests and improve marketing efforts.
c) Venues can view their traffic across past weeks, months or custom dates
d) Organizers can view how many people they invited to an event, how many people signed up and how many people actually showed up. Including guest name, age range and reliability score.
Is there a limit to how many events a Venue or Organizer can have running at the same time?
No – there is no limit to the number events a Venue or Organizer can create on their profile.
Can you block other users?
Yes – this feature can be found in the “Settings” tab, under “Privacy.”
Can you view a list of your connections?
Yes – this feature can be found in the “Settings” tab, under “My Connections.”
